Farmhouse Lama di Valle Rosa - Ferrara

The farm-house Lama di Valle Rosa derives its name from a canal (litterally a blade) cut in the old Marrara Valley, that has been drained in the 18th century; the canal was the only way to pass throuh the Valley, as we can see in the old Penna's map and the frescos in the Sala delle Geografie in the Estensi Castle. That old canal coasted the agritourism's park. The building is an old barn with the stable on the ground floor, that has been restructured in the 2005/2006. all around there's a 2 hectares park with a swimming pool and an orchard with vegetables and fruits. In front of the park, within the same farm, there's a “rinaturalizzazione”, that is the reconstruction of the nature as it was ages ago, with native trees divided in 10 small woods in an area of 5 Ha and a lake of 2 Ha Lama di Valle Rosa is characterized by 4 daisies that correspond to four stars for the hotels
