Playa del Inglés, an oasis of fun holidays in the Canary Islands.

On the southernmost end of the Gran Canaria Island, in the Canary Archipelago, we will find an interesting town, much loved by tourists and everyone who love to spend their holidays by the sea, surrounded by a beautiful beach, without giving up comfort and fun. This famous seaside town is named Playa del Inglés and it is located next to two towns- Maspalomas and San Agustin, on the south of the island bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas both have a beautiful shore of soft and golden sand, which stretches for 8km and is divided into areas, offering different opportunities to practise a variety of water sports. The towns of Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas create together a functional and organized tourist complex, which can offer a great number of handy attractions and services for a vacation. Among these, is a major selection of resorts and hotels in Playa del Inglés, along with several programs for your free time, like sports facilities, golf courses, nature trips (you shouldn’t miss the natural park of Palmitos and the beautiful natural reserve of the Dunes of Maspalomas), restaurants, clubs and trendy pubs, enormous organized beaches, malls and boutiques.

Playa del Inglés is also well-organized in terms of infrastructures and transportation, in fact, there are several suburban bus lines that connect Playa del Inglés and other towns of the island, including Puerto Mogán (located about 30km away, along the west coast) and the international airport of Gran Canaria (the latter also about 30km away, but on the east coast). And also, there are plenty of taxis, car rental services and private transportation provided by hotels and local agencies.
