The proximity to Costa Smeralda and to the most exclusive resorts in the north of the island, make Pittulongu an ideal hub for your relaxing holidays by the sea, without giving up shopping and fun and the most popular trendy clubs in the area. The village of Pittulongu is especially filled during summer, when the beaches are crowded by many tourists attracted by the beauty of the place and a promo by a fabulous hotel in Pittulongu. Like other towns in the area, it enjoys a calmer, warmer water and air temperature, the ideal conditions for swimming on warm days, when beaches are empty and you can sedately have the first tan of the season. At this time, various lodging offers and low-cost B&Bs are available, to provide affordable holidays in beautiful places in north Sardinia.

The beach of Pittulongu features a coastline of fine white sand lapped by clear blue sea that has obtained the recognition of four Europe Blue Flags. The seaside of Pittulongu consists of several beaches. One of them is called “La Playa” and has the shape of a white half moon. The sand is fine, alternating with shells and coarser sand at some points and clear sea is quite shallow near the shores. The beach is equipped with various facilities for swimming and water sports (the beach is much loved by those who practice snorkeling and scuba diving, as well as windsurfing and other sports). Near La Playa there are also different outlets, kiosks, bars and accommodation to sleep in Pittulongu.

Within waling distance from from La Playa are other beaches “Lo Squalo”, “Il Pellicano” and “Mare e Rocce”- all wonderful and noteworthy.
